OLTC fixed contacts are critical, stationary components in transformer On-Load Tap Changers (OLTC) that serve as secure anchor points for connecting transformer winding taps. Made from durable, high-conductivity materials like copper or stainless steel, they ensure stable, efficient energy transfer and voltage regulation while withstanding high load conditions. 

• Function: They provide consistent connection points for moving contacts, allowing for voltage adjustments without interrupting power.
• Material: Usually constructed from high-grade, conductive materials like stainless steel or copper to ensure durability and minimal maintenance.
• Application: Used in oil-cooled transformers for high-capacity applications (e.g., 22 kV, $\le$400 A or up to 2000 kVA).
• Design: Often part of a larger fixed contact assembly, designed for precise, secure installation within the tap changer mechanism.
• Mechanism: These contacts are arranged for the moving contacts (often on a Geneva mechanism) to rotate and connect to different voltage taps.
